Media
We feel that creative works should remain the property of their creators, and as a result, we let you keep the rights to your works. Having said that, Euwerks.com does not take ownership of media uploaded and posted by its members. However, you grant us a non-exclusive royalty-free license to use your media in a manner you see fit through the site's functions and features. This license ends when you delete your media or profile. In light of this, each member is fully and solely liable for the media they contribute to the site. Member liability includes, but is not limited to, any violation of local and international laws. In addition, it is the legal responsibility of you, as a site member, to obtain permission and give credit to the rightful owner/owners of the media you upload and/or post that is not lawfully your property. Since this is important, here it is again: If you don’t own the media you are posting and/or uploading, make sure you have permission to do so and give credit where it is due, as you agree to be fully liable for contributing it to the site. Furthermore, Euwerks.com is not liable to its members for the media on the site. You acknowledge that by posting and uploading media you understand that media will be available and accessible on the internet. By using Euwerks.com you agree not to hold Euwerks.com liable for anything that may happen to the media you put on the site as a result of it being accessible on the internet.
*Media is defined as pictures, images, videos and anything on the site's Articles section.
*Uploading and posting is defined as use of all Euwerks.com aspects, functions and features.
Site Conduct
It is the responsibility of every member to conduct themselves in a mature fashion and to treat others as they would like to be treated. Harassment of members will not be tolerated and could lead to permanent banning from Euwerks.com. Furthermore, Euwerks.com members are strictly prohibited from posting, uploading, linking and embedding any content that would be considered offensive. Offensive content includes, but is not limited to, nudity, pornography, attacks on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, color and national origin. Contributing such content to Euwerks.com does not only threaten your membership with the site, it also has legal implications as well.
Vendors
You are considered to be a vendor if you sell more than one of the same product, products or services. Vendors are 100 percent welcome to join and contribute to Euwerks.com. Vendors, however, are limited in promoting their business through their profile section only. Vendors are not allowed, under any circumstance to create albums, articles, events, classifieds, and groups (apart from the group buy sections) to promote or sell their products or services. Now for example, if you have an event or meet coming up at your shop you are welcomed to create an event for it using the Events feature. In addition, if during that event you shot pictures of all who have gathered and/or your show cars, by all means create an album of it. What we are trying to do, however, is stop the creation of superficial material in order for vendors to reach potential customers. For further clarification on the use of albums, events, groups, classifieds and articles, please refer to the corresponding sections.
Albums
Albums are your place for you to share your car portfolio and anything else car related. They can also be used to host images for forums and other sites through the "Share This" link underneath each image. Content in the Albums is strictly limited to car related photography, and are not for vendor products or personal use. This is in place to guard the founding purposes and user friendliness of Euwerks.com. It would be hard for you to share your car portfolio with the world if others had to sift through albums of kittens to get to yours. In addition, by design all albums are public and are accessible to members and non members of Euwerks.com. Abuse of the Albums application will not be tolerated under any circumstance.
Events and Groups
The Events and Groups applications are there for users to plan, gather and collectively share interests on anything they would like. Although the categories created for these applications are primarily car oriented, both Events and Groups have "other" categories in which members can do in as they like as long as other site rules are not violated.
Articles
The Article application is there for you to share your knowledge and experience with other enthusiasts. When creating articles make sure you put them in the appropriate categories. If a particular category is missing please let us know and we may just add it. Also, please review the Media section of the Terms of Service, as it is applicable here as well. Furthermore, Vendors are not allowed to create product or vendor reviews on their own products, services, or business. The "review" categories in the Articles sections are for consumer reviews only. However, Vendors are strongly encouraged to contribute Do-It-Yourself articles to the site. In the process of which, you are allowed to discretely promote and even link the products applicable to your DIY article. Furthermore, all members are prohibited from hearsay reviews of products and vendors. If you didn't buy it, or use someone's services yourself do not review them.
Classifieds
Classifieds are free (for members) and a great way for you to sell your car stuff to fellow enthusiasts. There is even a category for you to post non-car related classifieds. However, there are a few simple rules to follow when using the Classifieds application. Members are not allowed to have multiple classified ads that sell the exact same thing. Vendors are not permitted to create classified ads to sell their products. Linking to eBay auctions that are your own and other sites is fine, as long as the classified ad is fully filled out including a description of what you are selling. Any classifieds that simply contain a title and a link to another site, including eBay, will be deleted. Lastly, buyer and seller caution is strongly urged when making transactions through the Classifieds application. Euwerks.com is not responsible nor liable for any transactions that occur through the use of the Classifieds and the entire site itself. You also agree that you are using the Classifieds application at your own risk. Keep in mind, this is the Internet and sometimes things are not as they appear.
